Richard spent seven years within Tottenham Hotspur’s youth system, including three years as a full-time apprentice and professional, and was part of the side that reached the 1994/95 FA Youth Cup Final. He later played for Farnborough Town before injury brought his playing career to an early end. Richard moved into coaching with Coerver Coaching and has since worked within the academies at Millwall, Crystal Palace and Fulham, as well as serving as Director of Coaching for a major youth football organisation in the United States.
