Foundation Stage
Our Reception sessions introduce physical activity through imaginative, age-appropriate lessons. Activities include storytelling through movement, parachute games, action rhymes and exploring a variety of equipment and materials.
Key Stage 1
For pupils in Years 1 and 2, lessons help develop fundamental movement skills, coordination, confidence and teamwork through: dance, gymnastics, invasion games, striking and fielding, athletics, outdoor and adventurous activities, and net and wall games.
Key Stage 2
For pupils in Years 3 to 6, sessions build upon these foundations with more advanced skills, tactics and opportunities to work independently and as part of a team through: dance, gymnastics, invasion games, striking and fielding, athletics, outdoor and adventurous activities, and net and wall games.
Planned and structured PE delivery
Every lesson is carefully planned around clear learning objectives and progression across the school year, using a broad mix of sports, games and activities to engage pupils of different ages and abilities. Complete Coaching can provide regular curriculum PE, short-term support or dependable PPA cover, backed by lesson plans, curriculum maps, assessment criteria, wet-weather activities and progression frameworks to create consistent delivery across your school.
